Windward Software has thousands of clients using our software world-wide. If they run into a technical issue time is money and they must be up and running as quickly as possible. You will play a key role in providing technical support to these customers in a professional and efficient manner. We are looking for an analytical problem-solver with exceptional communication and customer service skills to work through and resolve complex technical customer support issues. Your solid work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize your workload is important to overall customer satisfaction as is exceptional trouble shooting skills.
In order to best support our customers, you should have advanced knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, software installations and configuration, some database knowledge and basic networking and printer knowledge. Ideally, in depth knowledge of POS software is needed, however if you have the aptitude and drive to quickly learn new technologies, we will provide in-house training.
A Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline and/or A+ and MSCE certifications or equivalent experience required.
Due to the nature of the position emergency support coverage off regular working hours on a rotating basis is required, as well as a valid BC Driver’s license and Passport.
