With Windward System Five, you can sell an item without the serial number, and take a deposit from the customer. When the warehouse ships the product to the customer, the serial number that is easiest to get to is selected and entered into the computer. Windward has several checks and balances to ensure that you don't forget to enter the serial numbers.
