The Windward AHA Ideas Board is designed as a collaborative platform for users to propose, vote on, and discuss ideas and suggestions contributed by the community. This initiative helps Windward gather valuable feedback and address user needs effectively.

Through the Ideas Board, you can:

  • Submit ideas for product improvements, enhancements, or entirely new features
  • Vote on ideas submitted by yourself and other users
  • Comment on ideas to contribute additional insights or feedback
  • Monitor the status of your ideas as they progress through consideration and implementation
  • Receive notifications when updates are made to the status of your ideas
 The Ideas Board reflects Windward’s commitment to continuous innovation and outstanding customer service. It provides an open channel for sharing your perspectives, priorities, and creative ideas with both Windward Software and the wider user community.

How to Access the Ideas Board and Sign Up as a New User

 Please ensure that you use your work email address when signing up.

No. Contributing ideas, voting, or commenting on the Ideas Board is simply a way for Windward to gather feedback and prioritize enhancements that matter most to our users. If you wish to accelerate an enhancement through paid custom development, please reach out to your Account Manager to learn more about available options.

Every submission is carefully reviewed in multiple stages to ensure clarity and determine whether an existing solution is available. Our process is designed to address your feedback efficiently and provide meaningful updates.

  1. Gathering Requirements: We collect all necessary information about your request and may contact you for additional details.
  2. Reviewing Existing Solutions: We assess whether the request can be met with current features or workarounds and may suggest interim alternatives while a full solution is developed.
  3. Exploring Design Options: Our team examines various ways to implement your idea, aiming to deliver the best possible outcome for both you and the product.
  4. Work Around Exists: If a workaround is available, we’ll share it with you. The team continues working toward a permanent solution.
  5. New: All initial reviews have been completed; the work is pending scheduling.
  6. Planned: The enhancement is scheduled to be completed.
  7. In Progress: The solution is actively being worked on.
  8. Pending General Release: The solution will be available in the upcoming General Release.
  9. Deployed: The solution is deployed and available for use. The version number will be available in the comments section.
  10. Future Consideration: This is something Windward intends to do; however, it cannot be scheduled at this time.
  11. Already Exists: The functionality already exists. Information on how to use the functionality will be provided in the comments section.
  12. Will Not Do: This idea is not something we can or will do. If your idea is not a fit for our software, we will always explain why. If you have questions or concerns about the status, please contact us any time.
