A new look for Windward.

Over the coming weeks you will start seeing a new Windward logo — on our website, in our emails, on your invoices, and inside Windward System Five.

We are telling you in advance for a practical reason: when a supplier’s branding changes without warning, the sensible reaction is to wonder whether the message is really from them. This page sets out what is changing, what is not, and how to be certain.

See the change

A short introduction to the new mark and the thinking behind it.

The mark, before and after

The logo on the left is the one you know. The one on the right replaces it. Both will be in circulation for a while as printed material, in-product screens and third-party listings catch up — seeing the old one is not a sign that anything is wrong.

The previous Windward logo
Until now

In use for many years across our website, software and print.

From now

Same name, same company — drawn for the screens and sizes our software actually lives on.

What is changing, and what is not

Changing

  • Our logo and colour palette
  • The look of our website, our emails and your invoices
  • The branding inside Windward System Five, arriving through the normal update cycle — there is nothing for you to install because of it

Not changing

  • Our company. Windward Software Systems Inc. Not acquired, not merged, not renamed.
  • Your software. Windward System Five — same name, same licence, same data, same version you are running today.
  • Your contacts. Same account manager, same support team, same phone numbers.
  • Our website. windwardsoftware.com, unchanged.
  • Our banking and remittance details. Unchanged.

If someone emails you new payment details, it is not us

A visible rebrand is a common cover for payment‑redirection fraud. A convincing message arrives carrying the new branding and new bank details, and it looks plausible precisely because something genuinely did change.

So, plainly:

  • We will never email you new payment instructions.
  • We will never ask you to update our banking details by email, form or portal link.
  • Any request of that kind is fraudulent, however convincing the branding.

If you receive one, do not reply to it. Call us at +1 (800) 663-5750 or by using the number you already have on file — not one supplied in the message — and we can verify its authenticity or warn other customers.

Worth passing to whoever handles your accounts payable.

How to know a message is really from us

  • Our base website is windwardsoftware.com and our cloud logins are at s5oc.com. We are not moving it, and we will not ask you to sign in somewhere else.
  • Our email comes from @windwardsoftware.com or @wws5.com addresses. Check the full address, not the display name.
  • Your account manager and support contacts have not changed. If in doubt, call the number published here rather than one in the message.
  • We will never ask you for your password, and never for remote access you did not request or we didn't previously arrange.

Not sure about something you have received? Give us a call before you act on it. We would far rather talk to you or look at ten genuine emails than miss one that is not.

Where you will see it

The new mark reaches our own surfaces first — the website, email signatures, invoices and statements — then the software, then print and third‑party listings, which take longest.

Material carrying the previous logo will be in circulation for some time. That is expected, and it is not a cause for concern.
