Extra, freight and duty costs are held per item on the purchase order and can be updated when the real supplier invoice arrives, so the cost carried into stock reflects what the goods actually cost to get onto the shelf.

The Receiving Report Designer can include a Put Away Quantities column and print put-away-list items only, with multiple put away locations sorted alphabetically.

On ordering and receiving, the Location column shows the item's highest-priority put away location; a different location can be chosen per line, quantities split across several locations, and location contents inspected before committing. Fixed locations are suggested, random locations are not but can be picked manually.
Trace where a stock movement came from
Stock transactions can be viewed for a whole purchase order, a single PO line, an invoice, or as the full movement history of a specific stock record from the inventory item's Cost and Stock Levels tab.
