Ask-controlled filter exposure
Optional
#
Stop staff changing a report's filters
Each filter in a designed report carries an Ask check box that decides whether the person running the report can change that selection or whether it is hidden and locked to the designer's value.
Inventory Report Designer
Optional
#
Build the stock report we actually need
Builds named inventory reports from scratch: choose sort and selection method, cost pricing method and department, filter by category, supplier, brand, part number, description, location and catalog page ranges, pick and order columns with their own headings, widths, fonts and totals, and set page style. Finished reports appear under Print Inventory Reports for staff to run.
SQL filter on designed reports
Optional — Advanced Inventory Control
#
Narrow a stock report with a query
Where SQL filtering is enabled, a designed inventory report accepts a SQL query returning the unique IDs of inventory records, and the report shows only the intersection of its normal result set with those IDs.
Stock age columns
Optional
#
Find stock that has sat too long
Up to ten stock age columns can be added to a designed report, each with its own caption and start and end day values, and the ranges are allowed to overlap, for example 0-30, 15-45 and 30-60 days.
Stock balancing columns
Optional
#
Return shelf-worn stock before the deadline
Where a supplier allows returns of product that has sat on the shelf beyond an agreed number of days, that number is held on the inventory record and two report columns show the quantity in stock beyond it and the agreed days, with an option to list only items under stock balance control.
