A touch button can send keystrokes to the field in focus, simulate a barcode scan, run a special function that no keystroke can reach, or navigate to another layout or open a pop-up layout window.

Layouts are saved globally for the whole estate or locally for one workstation, with a local layout of the same name taking precedence. Panels can toggle between layouts or open one-hit windows that close after a single press.

The login window can present a numeric on-screen keypad for staff signing in with a user number and numeric password.
