Windward Software has a strong Kit System, also known as Assemblies or Bill of Materials. Kits are essentially a collection of items that can be sold at one time by selling just one item or part number instead of having to enter all the item or part numbers of all the items being sold.
Windward System Five has three types of Kits; Static, Dynamic and Tag-Along. A great example using a Dynamic Kit would be the salesperson's ability at the point of sale being able to pull together a "Dining Room Suite" for a customer which includes individual items; the 4 chairs, table and buffet. There are also several options available on how to display the kit on the invoice and how to price the kit.
