Discounting at the point of sale instantly calculates your profit margins on the products being sold. If you're selling more than one item, the discount will be equally proportioned. This is important for reporting purposes as it doesn't show only one product line being less profitable due to discounting.

Any online orders are copied into Windward System Five to reduce errors. The system simplifies the process by instantly handling multiple tax calculations and shipping rules. It’ll also search multiple store locations to find inventory, choosing the one that’s most convenient for shipping.

Delivery Scheduler

Deliveries can be scheduled at any time during a sale, or added to any work order. The request will transfer directly onto the delivery scheduler and then get printed out to display all deliveries.

On the scheduler, you can set who’s going to deliver the items, as well as check their availability on the delivery date. To provide a thoughtful level of customer service, notes can such as ‘Call cell before arrival’ can be added to the order.

If you are connected to the Internet, you can click on‘View Map’ or ‘Driving Instructions,’ which links you directly to Google Maps or MapQuest for driving directions. If you have multiple deliveries set for the day, this will help you plan an efficient delivery route, saving time and money.
