Kyle Robert Turner brings a rare "boots on the ground" perspective to the world of Business Management Software. Before joining Windward Software, Kyle spent over 15 years in the trenches of big-box retail management, overseeing operations for industry giants like Walmart, Menards, and OfficeMax.
He doesn't just write about inventory control and point-of-sale efficiency—he has lived it. Kyle’s background includes managing multi-unit facilities, optimizing P&L for high-volume stores, and leading teams through complex remodels and expansions. This operational DNA allows him to understand the exact pain points Windward’s clients face, from the receiving dock to the checkout counter.

Kyle holds an Executive MBA from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Carthage College.
At Windward Software, Kyle leverages this academic foundation and his practical experience to align sales and marketing strategies. He focuses on helping businesses modernize their tech stacks, moving them from legacy systems to integrated cloud ERP solutions that actually work for their teams.
Community & Leadership
Based in Valparaiso, Indiana, Kyle is an active member of his community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Valparaiso Vikings Quarterback Club. When he isn't analyzing market trends or crafting campaigns, he is passionate about fostering leadership and education.
